Kerry Webb
Rural and Coastal Landscapes
Tilehurst, Berkshire
Kerry is a landscape artist, based in West Berkshire. She takes her inspiration mainly from rural and coastal landscapes, and the transformative effects that seasonal and meteorological change have on these. Kerry is especially fascinated by human intervention on the landscape and the resulting tension between permanence and impermanence: ancient monuments and architectural ruins being a favourite theme. In particular, the way these become absorbed into the surrounding environment over time while maintaining some presence of their own.
Kerry works in oils and acrylics, both in her studio and en plein air. Kerry is a member of the Reading Guild of Artists (RGA), the Henley Art and Crafts Guild (HACG) and Open Studios West Berkshire and North Hampshire. She exhibits regularly with the RGA and HACG, and has also had work accepted for exhibition at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, Penlee House Gallery & Museum, Penzance, The Badger in the Wall Gallery, North Yorkshire, and ‘The Artist and Leisure Painter (TALP) Open’ at Patchings Art Centre, Nottingham.
‘Wilder’s Folly after the Rain’ was shortlisted for the final round of judging for the 2022 Royal Academy of Arts’ Summer Exhibition and she was selected as a Finalist in the SAA Artists of the Year ’24 competition.
Her work has also featured in Leisure Painter magazine (August 2023 and June 2024) and in June 2022 she had a fun day out at Royal Ascot participating as a ‘Wild Card’ artist in Series 8 of Sky Arts ‘Landscape Artist of the Year’.’

Clare Buchta
Landscape and Seascape Artist working in Print,
Oil, Gouache and Mixed Media
Clare is an award-winning artist who has recently been featured in
Artists and Illlustrators magazine as one to watch.
Clare is a Landscape and Seascape artist who uses innovative methods and media to produce unique landscapes and seascapes. She enjoys painting in a semi-abstract style, including monotypes using oils, mixed media and print methods. The British coast and countryside are the inspiration for these original works of art which although semi-abstract, retain a recognisable sense of place.
Clare has developed a unique style of painting in oils, which uses thin layers to allow light to move through the painting. These works are framed behind glass. Clare also paints on an aluminium-based surface which allows the painting to be hung flat to the wall with no frame necessary. There are also paintings on cradled board which can be left unframed, or presented using a floating frame. She also specialises and tutors in Monotypes, a printing technique, to produce beautiful landscapes.
Art Group / Exhibitions
Clare is a member of the Reading Guild of Artists and regularly exhibits with them and at other venues in the south of England. Her work is in collections in the UK and abroad. For example, in the Obsidian Art Gallery and in the Bygillian Gallery
Clare's art has been selected for many awards, including the SAA National Award for Abstract Painting.
